We’re trying to determine what rights are granted to the Government by the Unreal Engine 4 license. Specifically, where does the Unreal Engine 4 license fall in regard to the FAR definitions for Government rights (e.g., unlimited rights, GPR, limited rights, etc.)? Thanks.
The Licensed Technology is a “Commercial Item”. As such, the only rights to the Licensed Technology granted to the government are the rights granted to other users (other than academic institutions) under the EULA.

The Licensed Technology and related documentation are “Commercial Items” (as defined at 48 C.F.R. §2.101), consisting of “Commercial Computer Software” and “Commercial Computer Software Documentation” (as used in 48 C.F.R. §12.212 or 48 C.F.R. §227.7202, as applicable). The Licensed Technology is being licensed to U.S. Government end users only as Commercial Items and with only those rights as are granted to other licensees (other than Academic Institutions) under this Agreement.
