The loading screen reaches 72% then fades away

Hi,
when I try to open ue4 it starts the common loading splash screen; but when it reaches 72% it instantly closes.
I noticed that my computer became slower than before, I opened the task manager and I found “Unreal Engine” running silently in the background… weird.

Hello Alaa Fatma,

I have a couple questions that will help me narrow down your issue.

  1. Does this issue happen with the launcher or when you open a project?
  2. If the issue occurs when you open a project, is it a specific project, or will the issue occur with any project?
  3. Could you provide screenshots pertaining to your issue?

  1. When I run the editor :slight_smile: [after clicking on the “Launch” button]
  2. Nope, I run it defaultly without even choosing a specific project.

Fixed it by reinstalling the 4.15 version.
