Is there a way to set my character movement to walking after falling and hitting the gorund?

I have a system where if u double tap jump (I’m using a Dualshock controller) my character will fly, and when the character runs out of stamina, his moment mode will be set to flying … is it possible to set my character movement to walking after the character has fallen onto ground because right now my character is permanently in falling mode.
