Mobile: Stationary dynamic light shadows on movable objects not working

I’m currently working on a project with one directional light which is set to stationary and uses cascaded shadow maps.
Lightmaps have been baked.
For shadow casting objects there are both movable and static meshes in the scene.
In Windows preview all looks nice and good.
But as soon as I switch to mobile preview or launch the App on an iPad, the static meshes stop casting shadows but only those on movable objects. Only the movable meshes continue to cast shadows on other movable meshes.
I tried switching on “Enable Combined Static and CSM Shadowing” and also turning on “Receive Combined Static and CSM shadows” for the shadow receiver meshes but this doesn’t change anything.
Is this a limitation of rendering on mobile, a bug or am I missing something?
