When inside the behavior tree editor if you click the auto arrange, it will arrange, if you click it again after it has been arranged the first time the editor will crash and open up the the crash reporter.

Hello,

I’ve tested this in a clean project, but I’m not seeing the same issue occur. Could you please provide the following information:

  • Logs from your project’s Saved->Logs folder
  • Your Login ID from the Crash Reporter window and ensure to hit Send & Close on the report
  • A set of repro steps we can use to reproduce the issue in a clean project

Logs Folder- Just from the last crash that happened this morning

I set up two new selectors, and a decorator setting up some multi purpose AI following along with the “Third Person Cover Tutorial” that is on youtube by EvilEyeGames. I clicked ‘Auto-Arrange’ on the pallet while inside the behavior tree and it made things so much worse, clicked ‘Auto-Arrange’ again to see what would happen and it crashes the engine everytime.

Its not a huge thing just a minor annoyance. Don’t ‘Auto-Arrange’ twice.
I got it. Thought you’d rather know that this was a thing.

Thank you for providing the additional information.

Could you try reproducing this in a clean project on your end and seeing if you’re able to get the same results? If so, please provide a detailed list of steps we can use to reproduce it on our end. I haven’t been able to get the crash to occur yet unfortunately, so that would be great if you could reproduce it. It’s possible I’m overlooking something.

In a blank project I cant seem to get it to crash. The only thing I could guess is that some combination of whats going on in the tutorial series I’m following is causing a crash in that area.

Still kind of strange though. I’m sorry for the bother.
