Hiding the brush causes the object to not be placed properly

When I hide the outer box brush, I can select theinside surface of the brush,

but when I drop an object, it is impossible to place the object inside the box brush.

Hey ,

So in order for the cube mesh to detect the inside of your Box Brush, it needs to have normal information and a surface on the inside. In other words, you need to make the Box Brush ‘hollow’ and then you will be able to snap the Cube mesh to the floor by pressing the ‘End’ key.

You need to use the virtual widget if you wish to drag your object inside the box brush itself. By default when you pull from the Modes tab, or even drag a mesh into the scene, it will usually try and snap to the outer surfaces of your brushes. It is easier to work in wireframe mode at this stage, as you can get more accurate placement.

Let me know if you have further questions.

Thanks,
