Sequencer Filmback won't change in spawned camera

I’m using 4.15 and just learning sequencer. I’ve noticed when I try and adjust the Filmback settings within a spawned camera, after I save the level or play my cinematic from an earlier point (before the camera was spawned), the settings return to default.

Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug?

If it’s the latter is there a fix/workaround?

I’m experiencing the same issue using UE 4.15.
I found this: Sequencer Filmback stuck on original setting - Cinematics & Media - Unreal Engine Forums so it might be a bug that has been introduced back in 4.15. Also, I’m experiencing a bug for picking up the “Focal Length” with the scene sampling tool. Not sure if these bugs are correlated. Hope to solve soon.

This must be a bug but you have to save the timeline to lock in the filmback settings . This one drove me crazy for days . Why you have to have a save on a timeline like this seems kinda absurd . never happened in any EDL software ever - It seems like even if there are cases it may be beneficial 99% of the time you want your changes to be auto-saved - you can always undo if you want to go back

This bug remains in UE 4.27 and even in UE 5
