iPod Touch 5 (iOS 9.3.5) anyone?

I ran TappyChicken on a remote iPodTouch 5 (9.3.5) device farm. (I don’t have access to a physical iPod Touch 5).

TappyChicken launches the Leaderboard and “Rate Us” screens as expected on all devices except the iPodTouch5.

On the iPod Touch 5 the “Rate Us” (button with 3 stars) button doesn’t have any effect.
I suspect it is an issue with the remote device rather that the app but I can’t easily find out.

Can Epic-Dev/someone with an iPod Touch 5 (iOS 9.3.5) confirm that the “Rate Us” button works as expected
(i.e. goes to the App Store ‘ratings’ screen) so I can tell the dev farm support team that it isn’t an app issue.

Is there a existing link/resource listing which devices and iOS versions TappyChicken was tested on?

Hi ash22,

We have a limited number of test devices and since we cannot downgrade the iOS for testing, we generally keep the iOS that the device shipped with and, when there is a new iOS, acquire the device that the new iOS shipped with.

That said, I did run a test on the iPod Touch 5 with iOS 8.3.2 and the “Rate Us” and Leaderboards worked as expected.

Finally, regarding an existing resource listing which devices and iOS versions TappyChicken was tested on, we do not officially have a publicly accessible doc listing these. Instead, as a rule of thumb (and as mentioned above) we test iOS and Android devices with the OS they ship with.
