Single skeletal mesh with multiple animated parts

Hello Guys!

Right into it, I have a gun mesh that has multiple animated sub parts (like gears, trigger, barrel recoil) I have them in a single editable poly (made in 3d max) along with the gun body.
Now when I imported in Unreal it create several pieces for each of the different animation components.

Is there a way to merge all into one skeleton with one animation ?

Or the only way would be manually setting up everything into a blueprint and then attach it to my hand? (this is for VR, so doing this gives a weird follow my hand with delay effect, not cool).

Thank you <3

Never mind, I just had to link all the stuff to a single bone.

So linking all the sub meshes with animations to the main body of the gun and then the body of the gun to the root bone.
This is done on 3d max.
