How do you export a blender texture to Unreal? Please help!

How do you export a blender texture to Unreal? cause I watched “The Secrets of Realistic Texturing in Blender” YouTube video and I copied everything he did in blender and than I wanted to export it to Unreal engine, but how do you do it? If anyone answers this question I would really appreciate it, and if you do can you please tell me a step by step process or just link me to a helpful video. Thank you for your time!

as i know, the answer is “no”…u cant export texture from blender to Unreal because the render engine in UE4 is different from Blender’s Cycles render engine…you should use Blender as modelling tool, not texture-maker tool…there are a ton of tool that help u make realistic texture as Unreal Engine 4 Material Editor, substance designer, substance painter…

Well the problem you are running in is that you have to rebuild your teture in Unreal Engine 4, in a similar way you did it in blender. At least as far as i know, i am using Cinema 4D for moddeling and Photoshop and Crazy Bump for my texturing, i have to use the different maps, like color and specular etc. to build the material in the material manager from Unreal. So you import them and then you can add them to your material.
Exporting the material will only give you a direct reference from blender, or in my case Cinema and thats it.

Sorry let me rephrase its that when I import my 3dmodel my texture doesn’t want to show up so how would I be able to fix it?

How are your settings when you export your model and as which format do you export? I use .fbx. and put a hook on import/ export material.
But basically you can just create a new material and drag and drop it on your models material slot, if you unwrapped your texture the way it shoud be, you will be able to edit this material just the way you would be able to edit one that appeared while importing the model. So just create a new material, import the maps you got from CrazyBump and then work with them in the material editor similar to the way you do in blender.

So how are your steps and what do you see when you import a model in the content browser?

Yes I do use a FBX file to export but ill try out your steps! And thank you for replying!!!
