Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Changing a greyscale image to a Normal map image?

I created a greyscale image on my iPad Pro and sent it through my Dropbox and sent it to my desktop. I then imported the image into unreal 4. I duplicated the image and open the image up in visual studio 2015 community. I also have a developer license through Microsoft that I pay $19 a year. I added a code to change the greyscale to RGB format and when I went to build it. It failed due to copywrite.

What app did you use to create the image? Perhaps the app is tagging the image on creation?

I used sketch club. I checked the user agreement and its an open source app.

Hmm ok, did VS throw the copyright error for the code or the image? Make a copy of the image and open it with an app on your computer and resave it and try with the copied image...if it throws the same error it most likely isn't from the image but something else in VS causing the issue....we can at least start to narrow it down this way
