Multi-channel audio output from UE4 (beyond 7.1)

Is there any functionalilty in 4.15 for multi channel audio output?

I’m using a UFX+ for a total of 22 channels of audio output (trying to get started on a VR/audio installation)

I’ve been experimenting with using OSC messages to output data to Max/MSP but it would be fantastic to be able to take care of sound spatialisation within UE.

Hello Clovix. Did you get any answers to your question? I am also trying to find a workflow to do sound spatialization within UE4 for multichannel speaker output above 7.1 but I havent found any solution yet. Could you share any info on this topic?

Did either of you manage to work out a way of doing this from Unreal?

Bump. I’ve also noticed that surround sound doesn’t seem to work well with the spatialization. If you turn your back, do a 180 to a sound playing in the game, the audio will fade out almost completely.
