Vehicle and Mud Particles Vehicle Covered In Mud
Ok so there is this project since day one I wanted to work on. I know this will be very time consuming and I don't have all the money in the world for such a project. But I really want to learn the unreal engine and so far its been a great adventure. Now I feel the vehicle stuff is by far the more advanced lol.
My question is how do I get a vehicle from driving around not being covered in mud. To going in a certain area like a mud track and driving through the mud and being covered in mud and spraying on each side of the tires. Again I am sure this is a more advanced question for unreal users. But I really wanna make this I have not really seein a game out there dedicated to Mudtrucks.
I think they are underrated and cool toys that people would like to mess around in on games. Feel free to take my idea and build your own I would like to do the same lol. I have posted a video to give you an idea what I am talking about. The trucks are not covered in mud. But when they go through the mud pit bam particles flying everywhere and trucks are covered. If you can point me to some youtube videos that would be great.

Decals or a material function used with instanced materials could create such an effect. These should get you on the right path:
