.FBX importer not giving correct scale

So just installed 4.15 and I can’t get my 3dsmax model to import into unreal at the correct scale.

If I use the new import data option the scale is fine in the actor, but the asset itself, i.e the .fbx is the incorrect scale.

Makes no difference what export settings I select in 3dsmax and makes no difference what I select for the scale options in unreal.

Is there a solution for this, I understood centimeters was the correct output scale from 3dsmax before and had no issues.

Appears issues arises when using asset scale from a previous version of the engine. Just exported and import a block using standard settings all fine. Previous block exported from earlier engine into 4.15 has incorrect scale in .fbx asset. Scale needs to be set to 2.54 rather than 1 to be compatible.

Hey Zedrophobe,

I was able to import a 100x100x100 cube in cm with the same scale in 4.14 and 4.15 using cm as my system unit scale as 1 unit = 1cm in 3dsMax. The scale of the asset in the engine was exactly 100 units as expected.

I made sure to use the same import settings for both scenarios. Would you mind uploading a screenshot of your import settings all extended. I want to make sure our settings are the same so that I am running the same test.
