Does source-compiled unreal require having installed one?

Hello everyone!

I have installed engine that I was working on when I was trying the engine to decide which should I use for my game. Now I end up with source compiled unreal engine that I am working with. The question is, do I still need installed version for it to work? I have rather small HDD and those GB are very important for me, but I am afraid to delete it :P.

Hello newicz,

You can safely uninstall the Binary version of the engine. The source version of the engine is completely separate and has nothing to do with your installed engine.
