using ocean or lake bp (from unreal engine’s water project) crashes editor on metal 1.2
switching back down to metal 1.1 resolves this issue (but that isn’t a bug fix)…
also since i’ve upgraded my 4.14.3 project to 4.15 all of my water bp’s (ocean and lake) have magically disappeared from my maps…
I’ve just tested this in a blank default project and on a 2012 with an Nvidia 650M GPU running 10.12.3 it works fine. This may be a problem with specific hardware or macOS versions. Could you please post your Mac’s specs including the version of macOS along with the crash reports and Editor logs?
yea, i guess a good computer restart solved it… the water bp’s missing must be a copy error when I migrated the project… luckily im not heavy into level design yet, anyways thanks!
