I have removed the plugins but the same problem

Thamer,

After disabling the plugins, did you delete your Intermediate and Saved folders? If so, could you please upload the full error output logs a .txt file? Upload a screenshot of your Android SDK settings as well, and test in 4.15.

Thank you!

Hey Thamer,

We have not heard back from you in a few days, so we are marking this post as Resolved for tracking purposes. If you are still experiencing the issue you reported, please respond to this message with additional information and we will offer further assistance.

Thank you!

yeah i tried but some error

nO I DIIDNT GET a solution for my problem

Hello thamer,

If you require additional assistance, I’ll need you to provide the information that previously requested. Without more information I won’t be able to diagnose the problem. You can find the log files in the project’s directory under Saved/Logs.

Hello , this maybe can help you

Please don’t create additional posts for the same issue, it would be best if we kept all of the information in the same area. I’ve attached the information you posted there so that we have it here. I’ll look into this and get back to you if I have any more questions.

This could be caused by the name of one of the folders in your project’s directory. The name “__backup 4.15 - 2” could cause issues due to starting with a _. If removing this doesn’t help, the issue also could be related to your Android SDK installation. Could you try uninstalling and reinstalling the Android SDK?

I renaimed the project name and i reinstalled the android sdk butt some problem although i can export others projects and this "{9362D8C4-433C-D113-9F40-72B40502A1D9} " is the project ID

I understand that this is a VR project, but can you try disabling the VR plugin and Play Support temporarily to see if the project can package successfully? Also, in the other projects where you are able to package successfully, are these VR options enabled?

Hello , yeah VR options are enabled in the other project , same problem in this project :frowning:

yeah i kow i deleted intermediates folder ; i’m using sdk 19 but it’s work in the other project

The main error seems to be related to your intermediates. This is the message:

E:\Stage__backup 4.15 - 2\Intermediate\Android\APK\JavaLibs\common_library\res\values-v21\values.xml:5: error: Error retrieving parent for item: No resource found that matches the given name ‘@android:style/Theme.Material.Light.Dialog’.

Did you ever try deleting your Saved and Intermediates folder? You can do this safely and not lose anything, it’ll be regenerated when you reload the project.

Also, what Android SDK version are you using? If you’re not using 21, that is what is required for GoogleVR.

I apologize, I was mistaken on the exact version but you do need to be using a higher version of the SDK. While using a lower SDK version may work in some cases, that doesn’t mean that it is supported and doesn’t guarantee that it will work in all cases.

As noted by the documentation [here for setting up VR][1], the supported SDK version is 24.

https://docs.unrealengine.com/latest/INT/Platforms/GoogleVR/QuickStart/2/index.html

yeah i’m with you for the SDk , but until now i didn’t get why it’s not packaging , and i’m Sorry i know that i take alot of your time

Did changing the SDK fix the issue? Is it able to package successfully now?

Hello , when i desable Vr i can package my project , but when it’s enable i can’t althought i have changed the sdk to 24

The at this post seems to of been having the same issue that you are. He mentions a workaround in his first comment but ultimately fixed this by using the 24 SDK. Can you see if the information at this post can help you? Error Launch failed! Unknown Error - Mobile - Epic Developer Community Forums
