Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Third Person Character Issues after FBX Scene Import

Hi All,

A bit of background, I'm trying to leverage UE4 for architectural visualization. I'm new to the program and need guidance. My workflow has been to export an FBX file from Revit. I know that this is not ideal, but the reality is that most of our projects are in Revit, and I'm trying to find a cost effective and time effective way to do real time visualization. When importing said FBX, all geometry comes in no problem, however after importing, my character is messed up. I cannot move the character when playing in editor, nor does the character seem to respond to gravity. Additionally the camera seems to snap back to the camera boom socket, which means I'm looking out from the character's stomach. Is this a world setting, or collision problem? I'm confused
