(Noob) static mesh playing sound while moving

I’m trying to get a sliding door to play a sound while its moving.

In the screenshot “R” is the right panel of a door.

It looks like the velocity of my static mesh is stuck to 0 (when the "add audio component is plugged to the == output, it plays continuously, even when the door moves.)

Any tips?
