Decals - "Blend mode" help!

Hi All
Im new to unreal and just been playing with decals. I want to put stickers on a wall but having problems with them looking translucent. I have changed the settings to Masked

I have changed the settings to Masked, but it no longer lets me save the material

The best i can get is below. but that’s using the Translucent blend mode and i would have thought i needed the Masked one. i want them to be solid

Any ideas what i’m going wrong, i have changed a few setting in render based on some reading up but still cant get this to work.

hello there!! the only thing you need to do is to output a (0,0,1) to the normal channel.
here a comparison screenshot (left without normal vector and right with (0,0,1) normal vector)

And this is the material set up as you can see it work fine also with the blend mode set to translucent

Hi there, thank you for you reply, its looking better, its slowing up except its now bright yellow. Have i added the normal correctly. Any ideas?

its ok im being a wally, think i have it working now. Thankyou so much
