Unreal Engine - Error at launch

I have recently downloaded and purchased a subscription of Unreal Engine 4 but at launch I get the
message 'The procedure entry point WinSqmAddToStreamEx could not be located in the dynamic
link library ntdll.dll. I have tried to post this in technical support but I have not gotten feedback.
Also, I can’t seem to find a phone number anywhere either. I am using a Windows Vista Service Pack 2
and recently downloaded the ntdll.dll config thinking this would fix the problem but with no luck. Please
get back to me VERY soon with a response or at least your technical support phone number. Thank you.

Hi Fireflux21 -

I am sorry you are having this error. Can you upload a copy of your DXDIAG for us to analyze? In the meantime, please make sure your have updated your Video Card drivers and any Windows updates. I would also suggest uninstalling the Engine and re-installing after you have updated the drivers.

Thank You

Hi Fireflux21,

I wanted to let you know that support is primarily provided here on the UnrealEngine AnswerHub, and also to a lesser extent on our UnrealEngine Forums. So you are in the correct place. Epic does not provide phone support.

I am curious about you saying that you posted your issue in technical support. Can you please provide me a link to where you have done this?

Thanks

I have a 64bit system and I’ve downloaded DirectX11. Currently it’s a WinRAR Archive in my Downloaded files and
I haven’t deleted the previous DirectX10 (if that’s neccesary or even possible). Because this didn’t fix anything I
unstalled and reinstalled Unreal Engine but the same error message keeps popping up.

Hi Fireflux21 -

So from looking at your DXDIAG, I would want to check on two things that will need to be corrected in order to get the engine up and running. First, is you OS a 64bit system or 32 bit system? (Quick test for this is to look in your system hard drive and if you have a \Program Files and a \Program Files(x86) directory you are probably running a 64 bit system.) Next you will want to update Direct X 10 to Direct X 11. If you cannot do that you, the engine may generate more errors once you get it installed.

Please also take a look at our recommended System Specifications for a comparison, found here.

Thank You

Hi Fireflux21 -

Can you go ahead and install DirectX 11 it should just overwrite certain files from DirectX 10 which will still function.

Let me know afterwards
