Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Continuous freezing on editor (i5-6600 16GB, GTX 1060 6GB)

I have freeze problems with Unreal continuously. I can work fine for a while but apparently without reason unreal begins to freeze and it doesn't stops before restart (or multiple restarts). When Unreal is freezing it crashes sometimes.

I use Oculus DK2 and CV1 usually and Leapmotion and I had SteamVR plugin activated but I deactivated it recently because it always opened an annoying panel. I've deactivated leapmotion program too but Unreal continues freezing.

The situation is so bad on blueprint editor that I have to drag Unreal to show it on Windowed Mode and restore Fullscreen again to refresh the window of the editor and see changes.

My computer has an i5-6600 CPU, 16Gb of RAM and a Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1060 G1 of 6GB. I use Windows 10 of 64bits as OS.

Help please.

I upload my dxdiag too, maybe there is something interesting in it.

I've formatted my computer and now everything is working ok. It was some kind of GPU drivers or/and incompatibility problem. I figured out it was a GPU problem when I tried to do the PCI-Express Render Test with GPU-Z application and it didn't render anything (white screen). Hope it will help somebody.
