Best uses fo lighting for interactive VR projects

Hello,
What are the best lighting practices for VR development?
I understand that baked lights is always the best for optimum performance, but say…if I have a sliding door interactive animation happening on the scene…the shadows of the door will be baked into the walls and thus, it won’t look good. I guess if the project is a simple walk around scene, then static lighting would work best here, but how would you approach it with interactive animations?
