  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

ASUS GeForce GTX 1070 8 GB GDDR5 - UE4 4.15

Hello everyone, I am writing for advice about ASUS GeForce 1070 GTX 8GB GDDR5. I for now I'm using nvidia 4000 for mac, but unfortunately I will have to replace it because of some changes in the operating system that supports only Sierra "Metal" and my card is not compatible with "Metal" but only with openGL :(

I have a Mac Pro 5.1 with Sierra utlima installed OS version and 32 gigs of Ram and common large capacity HD. I want to know before buying the card if it is compatible or suitable only for the use of Unreal Engine. I do not know the size of my Mac because space is compatible with the card you would like to buy. It states: I use Unreal Engine installed under Windows with BootCamp. Only using Windows can take advantage of the full potential of the graphics card that is very powerful but a little dated. Unfortunately now at this time I am still with my development and I can not afford to buy a powerful PCs as it is now my Mac. Good work as always.

I have a 1070 with a 2k Monitor and it works great. Runs all the games I play fully maxed and performs quite well with UE4. Also, re-read your post a few times, so if I am not answering your question, apologies. But, if you are asking if the 1070 is good for UE4, it is quite good!

Hello teak421 thank you very much for your help and for having responded. You took a huge problem. Sorry for my English. Can I ask you the last question?

The card I'd like to buy you can fit into my mac pro? the site where I should not buy the card does not show the dimensions for your accommodation inside the mac pro. I know it's a question a particular bit, but I would avoid going against these problems.

Thanks again a lot of your availability.

Hi..... The 1070 that I have is pretty large...and requires separate connections from the power supply. Sorry, didn't see you wanted for a MAC, but I've never used a Mac in all my life ( I know, odd!) so I can't help you on that one, sorry....

I have a gtx1070 (Asus) DDR5 8GB. It runs unreal very well. But when I increased screen percentage to 300 in the post process volumen, the frame rate dropped to 20 fps. I do not know if this is normal with gtx1070...
