[4.15] Html5 Shipping Problem on Sample UE4 Project?

I used the sample project that’s provided here:
https://docs.unrealengine.com/latest/INT/Resources/SampleGames/CardGame/

I built a shipping version intended for HTML5. And I tested it on PC, Android, and iOS. The webserver I used was 000webhost, then I tried launching on WAMP as well.

The game ran, with everything working in order except for being able to click on the cards (which will flip them). Menu buttons work, Hints work, etc.

Anybody knows why this happened, and how to approach fixing it?

Hello ,

There is not an official 4.15 version of memory game. There have been many changes to the engine since it was last updated. I have a few questions for you that will help narrow down what issue it is that you are experiencing.

Quick questions:

  1. Can you reproduce this issue in a clean project?
  2. If so, could you provide a detailed list of steps to reproduce this issue on our end (removing any extraneous steps or assets)?
  3. Could you provide screen shots of any settings/blueprints that may be involved with this issue?

Hello ,

We have not heard back from you in a few days, so we are marking this post as Resolved for tracking purposes. If you are still experiencing the issue you reported, please respond to this message with additional information and we will follow up.

Thanks,

Hi Rudy,

Sorry for not getting back to you, here’s the steps I’ve made to successfully reproduced this issue in a clean project:

  1. Open the project with Unreal Engine 4 version 4.15
  2. File → Package Project → Build Configuration → Choose Shipping.
  3. Settings → Project Settings… → Supported Platform → Choose HTML5.
  4. Package Project → HTML5 → Choose folder.
  5. Packaged Successful → I uses Filezilla to transfer the folder onto my website’s public html folder
  6. Runs the game from the website on an external computer.

Here’s a screenshot from the Blueprints that might be related to these issues
