Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Media player video stays black in gear vr

Trying to create a 360 panorama with a small section animated, secondary animation. The scene consists of a sphere with inverted normals with the pnaorama as a texture. then a part of that sphere is also a second object which has a video texture on it. Everything plays fine while on my PC. as soon as i deploy to the gear vr on a samsung s7, nothing plays. its just a black object.

level blueprint consists of a media player variable pluged into an open source node which selects the video file. triggered by an begin play event.

it all works on the PC but i just cant get it to work on the gear VR, i've found similar problems written about it on the forums here but none of the solutions have done anything to help me...some are not even clear what the solution actually is!

please help

ok. Apologies. I was stupid. I thought I had moved the video file to /movies but I hadnt. They don't package without being in the correct directory. Remember this if anyone else is stuck.
