Water Paint Effect
Hey guys, it's me again.. I'm a total noob when it comes to material creating. Basically I want to create this plane texture material that has animated water drop effects. I have a png texture of my sign shape and opacity mode set to masked. How can I create a water paint/ripples/drop animated effect (FX) and (my idea) plug it in in displacement map so it affects my base colour. I want it to look like this for example :
but whenever I try to plug in some random noise displacement map with panner, the base colour still look kinda rigid with this sharp transparency not displacing all around like in this uploaded image.
