Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Not able to bake because of builtdata.uasset

This is the next inline of alot of errors i have been getting when trying to build in ue4.15 But he can't load the build data, and when i build he gives this error about it.

Help is once again needed.

Hey Olivierus,

It looks like you're running into this particular crash in your commandlet:

https://issues.unrealengine.com/issue/UE-42583

If you notice in your log, you have the same error message: LogWindows:Error: Assertion failed: DepPkgInfo->bInitializedDependencies == true [File:D:\Build\++UE4+Release-4.15+Compile\Sync\Engine\Source\Developer\PackageDependencyInfo\Private\PackageDependencyInfo.cpp] [Line: 341]

This issue has been marked as resolved for 4.16, and you can merge the fix commit into your engine if you are building from source to test the fix now. Otherwise, you'll need to wait for 4.16 to release.

One thing I can recommend is trying to make a copy of your project (just to prevent any issues from corrupting the original project) and deleting that particular file that may be corrupted according to the log: D:/Projects/Enerpac VR/Project/Content/Game_components/Levels/Hangar_BuiltData.uasset
