Flickering teselated geometry.

I have geometry, both landscape and some static meshes that simply flicker as i move around… almost like its a weird culling problem but its totally in the open and visible most of the time… The same static meshes do not flicker if a normal material without hte tesselation is applied. The bounds are fine… triple checked this… As for the terrain its brand new terrain so it makes no sense to be happening… I have attached screenshots of terrain with this problem.

Any ideas why and how i could fix this?

*** UPDATE**
flickering stops on terrain if i paint some scultping value onto this flickering areas… so probably a different issue from the static meshes. But the same sort of thing happens with static meshes… any idea why static meshes with my tesselation materials on it would flicker??

First, try increasing the Positive Bounds Extension and Negative Bounds Extension for that specific static mesh. You want to extend the bounds to the point of max distance that the mesh will offset.

If that doesn’t work let me know.
