Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Thank you for your report. There have been many version changes to UE4 since this question was first posted. With a new version of the Engine comes new fixes and it is possible that this issue has changed or may no longer occur. Due to timetable of when this issue was first posted, we are marking this post as resolved for tracking purposes.

Thanks very much!

Hello, while this question may be old, it does seem to be still an open point in new versions of UE4. There seems not to be an official SDK for Unreal Engine (any versions), not even in the 3rd parties SDKs list ( https://developers.facebook.com/docs/apis-and-sdks#third-party-sdks ). Any chance that there will ever be an official sdk for facebook?

Hi ocramot,

Due to the large volume of questions and comments concerning the Engine, we did not have a chance to respond to your post at the time you submitted it. However, Facebook SDK 4.01 has been available for iOS since UE4.9 and continues to be in UE4.12 albeit with limited documentation on the subject.
