Fatal Error Cooking (0]LogWindows:Error: begin: stack for UAT)

I have a simple project which doesn’t seem to want to cook properly.
Maybe someone can give me a pointer in the right direction.
Thanks in advancelink text

Hi nome_unreal,

This log indicates a crash while packaging. I looked up your full callstack in the crash reporter and it appears to exit due to a D3D11 error. Can you send me your dxdiag?

Hi ,

thanks for your answer. Here is the dxdiag:

Well, that is definitely not a potato computer.

Can you install debugging symbols (from options in the launcher) and re-cook. It’ll give a full callstack instead of the nothing callstack that you have now.

Hi ,
yeah we don’t do well with potatoes.
I installed the debugging symbols and here is the callstack:

I hope this gives you the right informations.
Thanks again!

Hey,

Apologies for the delay. I’ve identified your crash as a previously reported issue. See UE-30189.

This is one of our top crashes and we do not have a way to reproduce it. Is there any way you can send me your project so that we can resolve this widespread issue? You can PM me a download link on the forums to keep it private.

Hey ,
thanks for your continuos support! We have managed to package the game, after removing a Blueprint from the Level and spawning it on begin play. The game didn’t cook with this asset inside of the level. We don’t know why. We did find this work around, but it would be nice to know why this happened in the first place. Here is our project: Download
The asset in question is called “MediaPlayerBlueprint”

Hey nome_unreal,

Again, apologies for the delayed response time. We have been very busy over the past month and have had some delayed response times as a result. If you could send that file again, it’d be much appreciated.

Hi nome_unreal,

We have not heard back from you in a few days, so we are marking this post as Resolved for tracking purposes. If you are still experiencing the issue you reported, please respond to this message with additional information and we will follow up.
