Massive perofrmance drop in 4.15

Hello,
I created an open world map in 4.13 version and I go around 100 fps. There is a lot of foliage and when I opened the same project in 4.15, I get like 6 fps… Changing the graphics settings does not help at all…

you might have some warnings / errors if you just converted to 4.15 (check materials etc). These could cause the massive fps drop

So I found out that some of the static meshes I used for foliage were causing it. But when I removed the materials from them it did not help. What should I do because I want to use these static meshes
