Hi guys, I didn’t found the solution on the forum, so i’m asking here.
I’ve recently installed windows 10 on my computer, here’s what’s inside :
W10 pro version 1703
os 15063.0
CPU : Intel i7 980@3.33GHz
RAM 24Go
GPU : Nvidia GeForce GTX 760 (just installed the latest drivers)
I’m working on a project with UE4.15 since a week, i had no trouble using it under w7.
Now that i’m under w10, the computer fully freezes. Can’t move the mouse neither “ctrl+alt+del”
The freezing comes randomly when working on UE4, and goes often when building lights.
When freezed, my only solution is a hard reboot… until it freezes again.
I’m kinda lost here, can’t find any solution. Just think it come from UE4.
Hi , seems here that it came from something else than Unreal. Looks like the issue is coming from W10. Also Freezes when computer is idle. Might come from thermical cooling that might not work well with some kind of weird raltionship with w10…
we been encountering the problem on other systems now. We moved the project from 4.14 to 4.15.1 recently. Now we got error logs on the other system the problem seem to occur with turning on the forward shading so we are rolling back.
