Decreasing the cloud speed of my skybox reverse the way the clouds are going

Oy !

I have a little problem with the skybox of the engine content. I copied it and I’m trying to setup a realistic weather and also having fun with colors… Now I’m trying to accelerate and decelerate my clouds when the sun is rising and setting.

The thing is that when the clouds are supposed to decelerate (Using a curve) they dont just decelerate, they start going the other way (They actually decelerate but will go the other way anyway)

I’m trying to find a workaround but can’t find any :x

In the pics you can see one blueprint (used as a day/night cycle thingy) where I call the “Update Cloud speed” function. The only parameter used is a float going between something like 1 and 12 on the curve.

I hope you can give me some help  Thanks !

Are you receiving a type of “jerky” movement in clouds while adjusting Cloud Speed Value? I’ve setup a curve in a very similar fashion and have it affecting my clouds (from game speed 0-5). I get a “jerk-back-to” frame effect when switching no acceleration or deceleration but plays proper speed per selection.

If you are using “Sun Height” for “In Time” on fGetFloatValue I believe that variable goes into the -'s depending on time of day.

Am curious as to how I can achieve the Accel/Decel effects properly.
