Why i can´t pick the door in my fbx import model?

Hi

I mported an FBX model which is an Hotel and in 3Dmaxi can rotate doors and select it but when i import it to UE4 then i can´t pick door at all… Anyone got an idea about what is wrong ?

Hi there. Can you please show a picture of the import? Also what are your export setting from maya?

Oh sry it is 3D Max is it the same ? with export setting ?

Anilasios the problem for me was not the export settings but combining meshes in ue4. Durning import there is a default setting that combine all meshes like 1 so if you try select the door you select all hotel.
Just durning import uncheck combine meshes

Thanx that worked!!! but the thing my model is has so much details so now i have 100+ piece :open_mouth:

Just export from 3d software all items in 1 group and when import check in the import option combine meshes and it combine all in 1

It happens like this when i uncombine mesh it

You need to check combine mesh to make all think the same item.
