Emissive on Landscape Layers

Hi, I found a bug with using emissive colours on layered landscapes.

Unless you add a constant to all layers that aren’t using an emissive colour it will not work.

Tom.

Hello Illarvan,

So I am not getting the results you are reporting. Below is the example material I used without having an Emissive input applied, and was able to paint and preview the material as expected.

If you could clarify what you mean by ‘not work’ then we can investigate further. Be sure to create layer information for each layer before attempting to paint. You can right-click these any layer when in landscape paint mode, and choose the ‘Fill Layer’ option to fill the landscape with that particular layer.

Thank you,

I meant that the emissive doesn’t work.

Painting the layers works fine, however the emissive part on the second layer does not show up unless a constant is plugged into the first layer.

Here is the material on a landscape with nothing plugged into the emissive on the first layer.

And here it is with a 0 plugged into emissive on the first layer.

Hope this clarifies it a bit more.
