How do I fix vertical stretcht deformation in a emulated stereo game?

When I open the win64 game shortcut, with -emulatestereo on it. The game seems to be stretch on vertical, how can a i I fix that? Cos’ when I stream the game to my phone, via TrinusVR, it isn’t looks good…

Hello arkinetics,

The stretching that you are talking about sounds like lens distortion. This is working as intended. Lens distortion in VR apps counteracts the physical distortion of the glass lenses in the HMD yielding a wide field of view, without visibly distorting the image. I hope that this information helps.

Make it a great day

Hi Rudy,
I don’t have any VR device installed. It’s about proportion or aspect ratio. I will attach a image later. Thx.

When I open the game. Does at fullscreen mode whit black frame down and right. When I press F11 twice, to go in window mode … the image appears stretched vertical…

I fix the frames issue, adding -fullframe to the shortcut… but can’t fix the FOV or Aspect Ratio…

I am not seeing this issue on our end (to the extent of the screen shot provided). Have you made any changes to the resolution?

Note: Some distortion is expected (as stated above this is known as lens distortion)

Hi Rudy. What i want was publish the game in stereo sbs (side by side) to stream the game window via TrinusVR to a smartphone, so the client can watch it on a cardboard. I’ve already fix the extra distortion produced by -simulatestereo added to the shortcut. I simply pack the game enabling VR at start after enabling the Cardboard VR Plugin. This make a “native” sbs and not a simulated sbs… Thank you for your help. I appreciate a lot!
