Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Hi magicbox,

There isn't any official tutorials on this yet. You can take a look at the Effects Cave sample content for some examples. Also, take a look at the forum thread below for ideas on how to get started.

Hi magicbox,

While we do not currently have a tutorial available, you could make it as a particle system or as a series of planes with a panning rain material. there are many ways to accomplish what you are looking for.

Any chance of us getting a starter sample to work with in the future? I would really like to start diving into particle effects but it seems pretty overwhelming.

Hi Gabriel,

Have you looked at our Effects level that is part of the Content Examples? It showcases a variety of different particle effects.
