Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

BSOD while compiling c++ sources

So, as the title says, when I try to create a basic c++ project my system crashes with BSOD apc_index_mismatch. As I've understood, the crash happens when c++ sources are being compiled.

I use VS 2017 on Windows 10. My pc configuration: AMD A10-7890K, ATI Radeon HD 7970, 12GB RAM. All drivers are up-to-date. Windows event log shows nothing besides "The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck".

Any help will be useful.

Hello Dain_Torson,

I understand that it has been a while since you originally reported this issue. Are you still experiencing these crashes? If so, please let me know and I'll be happy to investigate this with you. Did you get any error codes from the Windows Event Viewer?

The problem has disappeared after reinstallation of Windows. Windows Event Log showed nothing under except "The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck" under System Events. Thank you for the reply!
