LOD 1, 2 & 3 Screen Percentage Clamped at 0.9999

Hi, I’m currently using UT Editor v4.15

Whenever I apply LODs to a static mesh, I use the “Architecture” preset with auto compute screen percentage enabled. This sometimes sets the percentage for LOD 1 to 1.7, and 1.5 for LOD 2, etc etc. However, whenever I uncheck “auto compute screen percentage”, and then attempt to change the screen percentage for LOD1 to (for example) 1.5, it clamps to 0.99999.

This is a major problem because certain meshes require a much larger screen percentage in order to transition less abruptly between LODs.

However, if you are able to reproduce it in a vanilla version of UE4, please feel free to leave a comment to reopen this thread and we can investigate.

My apologies. After testing this in vanilla UE 4.15, I have narrowed the bug down to a problem with the UT Editor. I shall inform the UT team. From now on, I will make an effort to test bugs in UE4 Vanilla before assuming the bug is specific to Vanilla UE.
