Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Office Holiday

Android Patching

Hello i really stuck on android patch system.

i make release like in this tutorial and build release version of my game uploaded google play and installed my phone. it works well than i create patch obb and apk file then in google play upload new apk file select old obb file than upload patch section to new obb file

after updating my game download doesnt start. it said "xapk validation failed on patch ". Do you have any suggestion for patching because my game size is about 500 mb and i dont wantto upload entire game for every minor patch thank you.

Hello I used compressed apk because google play has very strict rules for patching.After used compressed apk my game became around 80mb. Also as i remember (i m using unity about a year) unreal doesn't support patching for android.

I love unreal engine and I have no notion in C # code but I really hesitate to try to make android games on Unity. Especially for this kind of small endless game that is very heavy and not necessarily very well optimize while it is much simpler even in terms of achievements and advertising on unity. Anyway, thanks for you anwser

I m graphic desgner and i hadnt got any knowledge about programming. Thats why i used Unreal Engine blue print scripting but after triyng unity i learn c# very easly.In my opinion try unity. C# is not hard that you think.Actually it is easier then Unreal(Struggling Unreal's bugs and API are frustrating ).I can help if you have any further questions unity or unreal :) you can send message or contact me :)
