Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Character input doesn't work after upgrade to 4.15.2

Hi I'm making a 3rd person character game and have been using 4.9.2 as the majority of tutorials available appear to use 4.9 or 4.10. However the game will eventually be on a mobile device and 4.9 doesn't support touch input. So I downloaded 4.15.2 however none of my player inputs now work. I've saved, recompiled, made sure the game mode etc... is all working but nothing works. I deleted and rebuilt the jump function on both the blue print and project settings but again nothing works. If I go back into 4.9 everything is fine.

I've attached a copy of my Character blue print for reference.

I'm having the same problem with the TwinStickShooter tutorial, I just upgraded from 4.12.5 to 4.15.2 and now my xbox360 controller doesn't seem to work anymore. Inputs are still defined in the project settings, and if I go back to 4.12.5 it still works...

I now realise you need to click on the preview window before the game will allow input. This wasn't the case in previous versions of Unreal Engine.
