Why is UE4Editor.exe crashing upon start?

Hi!

My editor started crashing when I open my project. It worked fine the last time I used it and since then it does not open anymore.

Here is my log and my dxdiag:

Does upgrading to 4.2 solve this problem?

Thank you for providing that information. We are still looking into this issue for you and wanted to ask what was the last successful thing you did in the editor before it started crashing? In addition, Is it crashing at the Launcher or is it crashing at the Project Select Screen or is it crashing when you choose to open a project? If it is crashing on opening a project does it do it for all projects or just one project? If it is just one project what was the last thing done in that project before this error started to occur

It crashes when I try to open any project, doesn’t even get to the project select screen

Hi loloop -

So you are using a GitHub Compiled version of the engine and when you double-click on the UE4editor.exe file it crashes at the splash screen? If so try to do a clean rebuild of the engine.

I rebuilt the engine and the projects I was working on too, and now it works. Thanks!
