How to make a static mesh with a smoke material that dissolves?

Would you be open to using a skeletal mesh?

Does anyone know how I would use Cascade or Blueprints to recreate a static mesh or image but made of smoke? The closest potential thing to what I’d like to do is this, Particle Editor Extension in Code Plugins - UE Marketplace, with the particles displaced over the mesh. It would also be incredible to fill a volume (loosely) with a smoke or steam material but I don’t think that’s possible yet? Maybe in 4.16 when we get volumetric fog. I’ll also settle for something like the Fog Sheet BP but it creates an image.

Yeah I’ve tried the teapot example but my problem is that the particles don’t describe the object, which I would like. Basically I am trying to create a face, but made of smoke, that dissolves eventually so having the particles emit from in the mesh isn’t as useful as it emitting from every face of the mesh.

I would spend some time playing with emission parameters; increase the size and number of particles; adjust the offset; lower the velocity, perhaps to 0.
