Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Opacity mask doesn't work with custom fbx-files?

Hey, so I've ran into a small issue here... I am creating a grass-material for my grass-mesh, so that I can put it on my terrain and decorate it... The material works with ANY shapes and meshes that we get along with ue4, but not with my own exported .fbx-files from blender. Here's a picture: alt text

You can see the basic shapes that we get along with ue4 to the left (with the grass material applied to them), and two of my custom made meshes (1 with and 1 without the grass material applied to it) to the right. My problem is, that whenever I change the blend mode to "masked" in the material node, the whole mesh becomes invincible like on the picture. Here's my blueprint: alt text

Btw, I'm using version 4.15.3... Please, does anyone know how to solve my issue? Thanks for any help! :)

I've solved my issue .. kind of.. I downloaded Maya and tried to export the model from there and it worked perfectly fine... Guess there's something wrong I'm doing in blender. Does anyone know? If so, then PLEASE answer me! ty :)

Found a way around this... I just had to UV wrap the object with my texture in blender before I export it.
