Dynamically change mouse cursor in UMG?

I’ve looked around for some kind of answer, but I’m not sure that I can really find the right type of fix for this so I thought I would ask. Basically I am trying to make a pause menu that can be dynamically interacted with using either controller or the mouse. So I thought I would go about this by changing the mouse cursor to somewhat of a custom cursor that’s hidden when using the gamepad, but revealed when moving the mouse at all. The problem with doing this is that it doesn’t seem to happen in real time. So it waits for the mouse to move to take effect.

Is there any way for the mouse cursor to change without the mouse having to move for it to take effect?

Bump. Anyone have a solution to this?
