Motion Blur is different in rendered movie and in editor

Hi, I have strange issue with motion blur and play rate track in sequencer.

I attached camera to the camera rig rail and made fast flyby animation in front of a box. Then I made speed variations to the animation by adjusting Play Rate track. Everything is looking as it should in the editor but when I render movie, motion blur is looking totally different.

It looks like motion blur is not affected by the speeding up or slowing down because when the play rate is over 1 it looks that there is too small blur and if the animation is slowed down under 1 there is too much of it.

How can I get the same motion blur behavior to rendered movie as it is in the editor?

In picture play rate is 0.01

I’m having the same Problem. That’s really annoying as it destroys the immersion of looking like real Slow Motion captures.

Put a Post Process volume in the level. Then change motion blur amount and max to 0.

I do not want to completely remove the motionblur. Motion blur is now working like inverted (if you render movie).

  • Slowmotion → too much MB
  • Accelerated playrate → too litle MB.

Note that it is working exactly how i want in the editor but problem exist only if you render movie of it.
