In the viewport > Lit and viewport > Show buttons, hovering over Visualize Buffer pops an error window and crashes the editor here.

Yes, we are aware of this issue. Unfortunately it slipped into the Rocket release, the Visualize Buffer option will need to be avoided until the next update.

Thanks for the reply. A curious thing: I’ve setup a keyboard shortcut for Level Viewports > Overview, Ctrl + Shift + O, and it shows the buffer passes without crashing. 
To toggle back to common persp view I just selected “Lit” mode again in the top viewport button.
That is a very useful workaround. Thank you so much!
