While I do like the way the new editor is put together I really do not like the way that the sub menu options flyout when you hover over them. Is there a way to turn that functionality of the UI off? I know that some people might find it refreshing but I personally would like to see the plain old sub menu just appear and disappear when you hover over them.
I would like to second that. I find that in Rocket Flyouts FlyIN and Dropdowns DropUP. Clearly it’s an artistic visual choice, and I don’t want to ruffle anyone’s feathers, but I find it visually disconcerting. Plus I’m the kind of person that turns off all those bells and whistles anyway because waiting for such animation slows down my APM, so to speak.

I have investigated this function and can say that we do not currently have an option to turn off the sub menus flying in. I have created a feature request for that option to be put into the editor preferences and referenced this thread. If there is anything else that you would like to see in a future build of Rocket, please let us know.
