UE4 crashes when I press 'PLAY"

When I open any template and press ‘PLAY’ UE4 crashes and the program closes. I tried reinstalling it twice but the problem is still there.

When I was downloading UE4 there was a problem with the prerequisites failing to install which I then fixed. Could this be related to that?

Yes. You need the prerequisites to use UE4. I would also reinstall the engine once. Depending on how you fixed the prerequisite you might have to. Also, if you faked the prerequisite in any way you will also crash.

How do I make sure the prerequisites have installed correctly?
